Winding Down

After the winter break, the project picked up and is now nearing completion.


The contractor is working on the ditches and driveways.
 Next week they will be paving and striping and that should complete the project.

Winter Work Suspension Approaching

Due to the winter weather the project is going to be suspended until next year when the weather starts to improve.  Before suspension the Contractor will finish installing guardrail, temporary striping and the remaining permanent signs.  when the contractor returns they will finish the remaining 2 inches of asphalt and pave the driveways. 

You can expect some minor traffic delays due to lane closures in the work zone. 

October 13th 2011

The contractor finished the first lift of asphalt last week.  There are still two more lifts to go but their placement will depend on the weather.  The Contractor is currently working on fixing soft spots that have formed south of Hannus Rd and installing driveway culverts.

Sept 30, 2011

August 29th Update

The contractor, Boss Construction Inc., will be working between 138th Ave. and Bald Hill Rd. for the next couple of weeks.  They are working on final grade and placement of crushed rock between Hannus and Bald Hill.  South of Hannus they are working on roadway excavation.  

On August 30th Boss will be installing two 6 foot diameter culverts at the 138th section of the project, there may be longer than normal delays associated with this work. 

We request that drivers use alternate routes if possible.  

AUGUST 2nd Update

Utilities and Grading can be worked on simultaneously.

The contractor, Boss Contruction Inc., will be working between 138th Ave and Bald Hill Rd for the next couple of weeks.  They are still working on grading  the road and the installation of two 6 foot diameter culverts.

Update for July12th, 2011

The contractor, Boss Construction Inc., is back on site and is currently working on excavating the new road to grade.  This will continue for the next couple of weeks.  During the week of July 25th the contractor plans on grinding the remaining  sections of the project (south of Hannus Rd. to 138th Ave.)  You can expect traffic delays due to lane closures in the work zone.  We request that drivers use alternate routes if possible.
